How Do You Get Deep Stains Out of Carpet?

1. Sprinkle baking soda on the stain, allow it to absorb and then vacuum it up. For older stains, you can leave the baking soda on longer. This will add more power to the mixture. Follow this by adding a tablespoon of white vinegar, a tablespoon of clear dish washing liquid with two cups of warm water if the spot isn’t brand ne. The baking soda should stay on the spot while you’re dabbing the stain with the vinegar mixture. This will allow the baking soda and vinegar to react and break the stain up better.
2. A $1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide might be all you need. Pour the hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle and spray it onto the old stain. 3. Club soda is another way to go. It’s better to use on a fresh stain but can work on older stains too. Put the club soda in a spray bottle and spray the stain. Leave it for a few minutes and use a brush to work it into the stain. Use a steam vac or towels and cloths to absorb the club soda.
4. Sprinkling some salt over the stain after you’ve sprayed the hydrogen peroxide or the club soda might help with removing it. Salt pulls moisture out of anything and will help pull the peroxide or soda out with the stain.
